Singapore Buddhist Lodge

The Singapore Buddhist Lodge is a Buddhist and charitable organization in Singapore. Founded in 1934, it is one of the oldest charities in Singapore The existing Singapore Buddhist Lodge undergoes a major renovation with extensions of facade and construction of the new main prayer hall in 2017. In this project, we explored how hope, faith and light of Buddha is expressed.

Church of Our Lady of Lourdes

Designed in Neo-Gothic Style, the church was officially opened in 1888 and is the first Tamil Catholic church in Singapore. Gazetted as a national monument since 2005, challenges the lighting design to enhance the architectural features while keeping to conservation regulations with no impact to the core and shell. Façade lighting was to integrate and enhance the overall layers and elements and also illuminating the stain glass windows lining the clerestory from the interior so that they can be appreciated from outside, while also illuminating the interiors and features sensitively with various scenes from day to night.
