Taking inspiration from the very basic element of lighting design – shadows, the installation invites the public to experience and participate in the interactive shadow installations, The Legend of Bukit Merah. The story of how Singapore was once attacked by swordfish, terrorising everyone on the island. Even the Raja of Singapore did not know what to do until one day a young boy came up with a solution to end the misery. Pick up the props and get involved in the scenes through various light and shadow techniques to create your very own immersive story-telling experience! See how layers of shadows create depth, and how simple objects can create interesting shadows.
