The Legend of Red Hill - In Light Of Shadows

Using principles of light and shadow, we aimed to share the story of "The Legend of Redhill" through interactive shadow installations where the public could experience and participate. Using an nostalgic and conventional OHP Projector, we explored how a flat medium, such as transparencies, could be layered to express character, objects, textures and movement for storytelling. We wanted to experiment with simple objects to create interesting shadows and observe how layer of shadows create depth. The use of props allows the audience to get involved in the scenes, allowing for an immersive storytelling experience.
