The lighting design for the private residence was conceived to bring out the architectural forms. The strong cubic features of the facade were carefully illuminated as part of the lighting concept. Using the building form and surfaces as reflector of light, most of the lighting fixtures were carefully concealed to achieve the overall illumination. We also highlighted the beautiful form of the spiral staircase, to embrace the architectural form and translating it into a beautiful 3-dimension lighting object using minimal downlights. The result was a beautiful lighting element with little distractions from lighting fixtures.
