Lighting complements the RC soffit and reinforce its spatial quality, a series of pendants suspended below 9m tall reinforced concrete cove at un-ticketed concourse, creates an uplifting cathedral-like spatial quality for commuter’s sense of arrival and wayfinding. The interior features a double volume space and to enable easy access to the M&E services, a network of service booms is hung from the ceiling at 3m, in a configuration that delivers lightings and other services. A special luminaire with vertical PMMA profile optimizes the spread of light, allowing facial recognition while horizontal PMMA linears were deployed at the platform.
