The store comprises of the main store space and a kiosk area.The challenges and key design considerations for the main store includes the layered slanted ceiling, with a mixture of light and timbered ceiling. The ceiling design does not necessarily follow the shelving layout, thus, it is challenging to keep a clean and organized lighting arrangement with adjustable downlights and still able to focus on the book shelves. The layered ceiling was also carefully detailed so that the indirect lighting is also functional, softens the accentuation.
